Stick Around Films

STICK AROUND FILMS is a new film company set up in North Yorkshire by Adrian Tyson and Nick Duffy. They are working towards their first production, a 10 minute short film called "HEAT OF THE MOMENT" Their first Feature Film draft is called "BLAME CULTURE".  David Reynolds is now the film's Producer and has his first production meeting in Scarborough at end of March '10.

They are also working with Flat-Broke Films Ltd on development of a feature film based in North Yorkshire and the North Sea.

We have attended many seminars organized by GMG and only recently we met Barbara Machin, (Creator of BBC’s 'Waking the Dead'); Simon Shepherd (Actor from ITV’s Peak Practice; Peter Ellis (Actor/Director with The Bill) and both James Redmond & Martina Laird (Actors from Casualty).

They all gave us good tips and encouragement with screen writing.  As they said: all actors need new stories from both young and old new talent. We have sent a DVD copy of Waters End to Barbara, at her request, as she was intrigued by the story. We await her comments.
